Welcome

Hello everyone! I wanted to start my blog off with a warm welcome. My name is Kayla Martinez and I offer graphic design and digital marketing services to small businesses and solo entrepreneurs. I am excited to start this blog and connect with my website visitors! I have 3 goals with starting this blog.

1. Give Clients Insight About Who I Am As A Designer

It is important for me to connect with my clients. Each project is different and should be handled with the businesses unique voice in mind. My Design Process is straight forward and gives clients a good idea of what their experience working with me will be.

The luxury of freelance is that I can work with anyone from anywhere and I love that flexibility. If you want to learn a little more me check out my About page.

2. To Provide Helpful Information By Sharing My Personal Experiences

As of now, I have been doing this work for seven years. I love what I do, but I remember when I first started I would read the blogs of other designers. Doing my best to reduce the amount of errors I made when first starting out. Of course I still made plenty of mistakes and they made me the designer that I am today.

You learn the most from your mistakes and failures, but sometimes it’s nice to read about someone’s experiences too. It helps when you feel alone and lost in this business at times. Trust me, you’re not! There is a lot to learn and you should constantly improve yourself for your clients and business.

I want to help people and that is the second reason in starting this blog. I hope you stick around for my journey! If you are interested in doing so, feel free to join my email list and I will gladly notify you so you never miss a post!

3. Share My Projects and Detailed Case Studies

This can be helpful for clients and designers! I will notify my email list every time I share new project details. Be sure to join the list to get exclusive updates, a freebie of 30 inspirational quotes to keep your business spirits and dreams up, and follow my journey.

Thanks for reading!
