Motion graphics and video editing services can feel overwhelming. I understand.
Who do I hire? How much does it cost? How long does it take? I don’t know where to start!
I get it. Hiring anyone to help you with a service beyond your means is scary. You want the PERFECT person, right? A plumber, a real estate agent, a babysitter, a hairdresser… no matter what the service is, choosing can be difficult and stressful.

Time is money and your time is best spent focusing on your expertise. I don’t waste my time doing my taxes, car repairs, and other tasks outside of my skill set. It would take me hours… DAYS even. So, no thank you. If video creation is not your expertise, then I can help free up your time so you can focus on your specialty! Hiring a freelancer can save your business money. You don’t have to pay to have someone in-house, paying their taxes, benefits, equipment, etc. With Kayla Martinez Design you pay for the agreed upon service cost at the beginning of a project as well as any additional variations and revision rounds that you approve to proceed on.

I respect people’s time and I expect people to respect mine. I have boundaries and I’m guessing you do to! I will not be emailing you in the middle of the night pestering you to look at a design round immediately. So don’t worry about that, but if you are a lagger or a procrastinator on reviewing files and emails, then I am going to drive you crazy. Lol! I’m just keeping it real for you. You are responsible for your projects exceeding a deadline if you haven’t reviewed a design round in a timely manner. I am a master of keeping projects on track.
3. You’re SO over newbie designers. Don’t worry, I’ve got some years under my belt.
I have over 7 years of experience with motion graphics. Have you ever hired someone to do a video project for you and it ended up looking like a glorified Powerpoint? That’s disappointing. I will make sure that your video looks amazing, by ensuring you know what your getting from the start when working with me.
4. Someone who will dive deep to understand your business.
From the beginning of the project I want to get to know YOU so that I can understand your business from behind the scenes to what your audience sees. All of my clients are required to complete a Creative Brief at the start of a project. I want to know about you and your business.
Beyond the Creative Brief I ask in-depth questions to fully understand what you’re looking for with each project. I WANT you to get your professional video so you are proud to show it to the world and make more sales. There are very specific steps to get there and I will be there with you every step of the way.
5. Get a clear picture of the process from beginning to end from the start.
Timelines vary from project to project, but a timeline, project goals, variation quantities, revision rounds, and deliverables are established before the project even starts. I will clearly write all of that out for you before the project begins so that we are on the same page when starting a project. When I work with my clients we are a TEAM. This is not a single-sided project. It’s collaborative and lastly fun! Video projects are fun and effective to add to your sales and marketing arsenal!
