A Little About Me

Hi There!

My name is Kayla, I design brands for businesses and solo entrepreneurs. Building their client trust and expanding their growth through clear brand identity and a strong website that supports the brand.

Today I help businesses focus on who they are, what they do, and who they do it for. Once a WOW brand is established it is important to keep that brand consistent for potential clients. With my combined skills of brand identity creation, strategically designed marketing materials, and the ability to build a WordPress website that supports your brand I can take a few things off of your plate. Tasks that maybe you’ve been meaning to get to or maybe you are doing it, struggling to maintain it, and it leaves less time for you to focus on your business and clients.

Businesses can struggle to have a consistent look through out all of their printed materials, website, and even in their ‘branding’. Crazy right? Branding is the foundation of a business’ consistency to establish client trust. It’s more than just colors and fonts. What are you trying to say? What type of clients and customers are you trying to attract? All of that matters when creating a brand.

So how did I get into this field? Why do I care about helping your business have branding that is ON POINT? Why is it important to give your business voice the ability to grow and allowing people to connect with your business on a personal level just by seeing your branding?

Well, let’s go back to the beginning. Throwback…

I love creating through graphic design and when I started that’s what I did. I designed graphics for clients. That’s. It. I’m sure you’re wondering, what’s wrong with that? Well, I wasn’t getting my business in front of people, work was slow, and my business wasn’t growing.

When I first ‘launched’ my business years ago, I put together my portfolio and I put it online. I waited…and waited…and waited. chirp, chirp

I got crickets. That’s right! CRICKETS. Unless you’re a frog living your best life without a care in the world, that is the last thing you want. Ok, I’m not gonna lie, I did get some clients, but it was slow going.

I was struggling to get my business noticed and in front of potential clients. I was creating brands for other people which was great, BUT it was very limiting to my business growth.

I shifted my method, took the time, created a brand for my business, and invested in MYSELF. The first step to creating a killer business is investing in the business brand.

I care because I know what it feels like to start a business, with NO branding in place, and getting left in the dust. I couldn’t stand out from the crowd without a visual, branded voice to attract clients.

After that I finally buckled down, established my brand and grew from there!

I wanted to create a business that helps other businesses find their brand voice and develop a brand identity that they are in love with. Branding is the opportunity to breathe life into your dream company – building a business identity from the ground up. Now I’m living that dream and I want other businesses to fulfill their dreams too!
